How much does bookkeeping cost with NorthPoint Ledger?

Our pricing is based on the size and complexity of your business. Most clients invest between $300–$3,000 per month, depending on the number of accounts, transaction volume, and optional services.

Why don’t you offer one flat monthly rate?

Every business is different — a solopreneur with 100 monthly transactions has different needs than a company with payroll, invoicing, and multiple integrations. Ranges give you an honest estimate before our consultation, so you’ll know what to expect without being boxed into a “one-size-fits-all” price.

What if my books are behind?

No worries — catch-up projects are billed per month of backlog at your tier’s range. Whether you’re 3 months or 3 years behind, we’ll get you current, correct errors, and set you up for stress-free ongoing bookkeeping.

What’s included in the monthly fee?

Your monthly service includes transaction entry and reconciliation, full financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), financial insights, Q&A support, and year-end readiness for your tax preparer. Optional add-ons like A/P and A/R support are available for businesses that need them.

How do I pay?

All payments are handled securely through QuickBooks Online Payments, with ACH autopay (preferred) or credit card. This ensures your books stay current without billing delays.

Can I try your services at a discount?

Typically, we do not offer discounts for services. If you’d like to experience what it would be like to work with NorthPoint Ledger, the best place to start is with a QuickBooks Checkup. This service is offered free of charge and will give you both insights into your bookkeeping setup, and how we do business at NorthPoint Ledger.

Why are you more expensive than some other bookkeepers?

Because we don’t just “enter transactions.” We provide clarity, insights, and proactive support that protect your business from costly mistakes. Cheaper bookkeepers may save you money upfront but can lead to compliance issues, errors, or incomplete records that cost much more in the long run.
